Library
Boasting one of the most picturesque views on the island, our school library seamlessly blends 21st century learning with the rich Norfolk Island history. We are open from 8.15am to 3.30pm with students able to access the library within these times before school and after school as well as recess and lunch.
The library is staffed by fulltime teacher librarian, Caryn Harrington and library assistant Sarah Jenkins.
We hold an extensive range of books, periodicals, DVDs and computer software supporting the school curriculum from Prep through to Year 12. We have created flexible learning spaces supporting students study, fostering a love of reading, as well as nurturing students creativity and imagination within the collaborative makerspace.
Technology
Wi-Fi is available to support the use of mobile devices as rolled out in the Norfolk Island Central School device program for Years P-12.
Our friendly staff will assist with everything from locating a suitable novel to assassisting with enhancing ICT skills.
So come and visit the library where everyone is greeted with a smile!
